We are coming to the end of what has been quite a year. Another year, another pandemic. At the close of 2021, rather than focusing on the bad, we are taking in some self care and appreciation for the good things that came from this year; like the creation of The Grind Bible. Thank you to everyone that has been supported. I'm so grateful for the love & support that I've experienced on this journey. So as I start reflecting and manifesting on the year to come I've decided to share some tips on how to make a vision board.
We've created a vision board guide to help you organize your goals and dreams, while leading you through the creative process, every step of the way. Now it's time to manifest your best year to date!
STEP 1: MINDSET
Always create your vision board when you are in a good mood. You need to have a mindset where you believe that anything is possible.
Every image you place on your vision board will come to fruition. This is the mindset you need to have. If you don't have this mindset, STOP, and watch something that inspires you.
STEP 2: MAKE A LIST
Most people don't take the time to do this step. A vision board isn't about pretty pictures, it's about finding pictures that are aligned with your goals. So, grab a pen and paper and start writing out your goals for 2022.
STEP 3: PINTEREST IMAGES
I can't say this enough, but Pinterest is bae. Pinterest is an awesome resource for getting aesthetically pleasing images that bring your vision to life. Magazines are great and all, but don't you get tired of looking at perfumes ads.
When looking for images for your vision board, remember these 2 things:
- Reason: find images that inspire you, think about unique qualities that make your vision specific to you.
- Specify: have a specific goal in mind. For example, don't just put travel; be specific put travel to Jamaica, etc.
Once you've gathered all the content you've collect it's time to assemble your vision board. We've created a vision board template to make your life easier.
Take you vision board and begin turning your dreams into an expression of your best year yet!
STEP 4: START MANIFESTING
Place your vision board somewhere that you can see it on a daily basis. Where and when, is your vision board able to best reach you? Think about your daily routine, give your vision board a home in place where you elevate: in the bathroom by the mirror, in the kitchen on the fridge, at the office over your desk, etc.
Thinking about your ambitions often will turn them into reality. Make sure you pass by your vision board at least 3 times a day.
Also, spend at least 15 minutes a day looking at your vision board and visualizing your goals turning into reality. What emotions arise when you think about achieving this goal? How will you achieve your goals? Envision your brilliant future and spend quality time with your dreams and aspirations.
